Out of sheer boredom and curiosity I decided to see if I couldn't do a temporary tattoo on myself.
Following instructions I found on Pinterest, I have drawn a tattoo design where I would hope to one day have one placed permanently.
Using
this design (the top one), I printed and cut out the design on a piece of paper, I then traced the design on a piece of tracing paper with a gel pen (a typical bic pen didn't work, and my eyeliner is too bold, the line is not thin enough (which is what I really wanted to use, not a pen)). I then transferred the image to the inside of my wrist and went over the parts that were too faint with the gel pen, then I dusted it with powder and painted over it with liquid bandage (which actually smells like clear nail polish...probably what it is lol)...and voila!! My New Tattoo.
Now, I'm unsure as to whether or not I would use this design should I ever get a real tattoo, I just want to see how it looks. Better to test it out using something less permanent than go in, get a real one done and be very disappointed.
UPDATE:
Oh, and if you're wondering how hard it is to take off, it's not at all, depending on the stuff you use (I used "new skin" liquid bandage, and it says to remove, simply apply more and quickly wipe off). I suspect it'd stay for a few days, but I decided to take it off.
