In the mean time, I have created a new arm band that I think looks really nice. Inspired (this time) by an old arm cuff/bracelet my sister had that she got at a Pow Wow when we were younger, this is held on the arm by beads, and is completely adjustable (depending on where you put it and how thick your arm is).

Arm Band - Beaded
Well, against my better judgement (and lack of funds), I purchased some leather cord/strap. I was going to try to re-create my arm-harness I made yesterday, but I think I'll have to wait until I can get a spool of it (my forearm is a lot bigger than it looks lol).

Using a lighter brown cord this time, I wrapped it around my arm (just below my elbow) and threaded a black and gold veined bead onto it...to allow for adjustment and tightening. I then added two oval beads and an orange/silver disc bead to the ends, and voila, a rather nifty arm band. I'm thinking of making another one. I think it looks so cool.
